Did You Know?
- Favre has been through rehab twice; first for painkillers in 1996 and then for alcohol in 1999
- He proposed to Deanna during his first stint in rehab and they married on July 14th, 1996. Eight years later, she successfully battled breast cancer and started the Deanna Favre Hope Foundation.
- Deanna almost kicked him out of the house in 1999 after a two night bender that started at his little brother’s wedding reception. In an interview with Milwaukee Magazine she reports she had his bags packed and waiting in the courtyard. She said, “Take your stuff and go. I’m done.” He begged, refusing to leave, so she called his agent. “You need to come get him. I’m not putting up with this anymore. He needs to get out of my house or I’m calling 9-1-1.”
- The Favre's daughter, Brittney, attended high school in Mississippi, and the only time Favre got to see her during the football season was when she attended games. After her parents wedding when she was 7-years-old, little Brittney climbed into the car and said, “This is the happiest day of my life.”
- After Deanna was diagnosed with cancer and admittedly “shut down,” Brett actively researched all of their options and sought all of the medical advice they needed to proceed with Deanna’s treatment

Player Facts:
- He has been to the Super Bowl twice. The Packers beat the Patriots in the 1997 and lost to the Broncos in 1998.
- Favre is the only three-time AP MVP(1995-97) in NFL history
- Brett has played 17 seasons in the NFL and has started every game since his first start for the Packers in 1992
- He holds the following records: most career NFL touchdown passes (442), most career NFL passing yards (61,655), most career pass completions (5,377), most career pass attempts (8,758), most career NFL interceptions thrown (288), most consecutive starts among NFL quarterbacks (253, 275 total starts including playoffs), and most career victories as a starting quarterback(160)
- Brett had 30 inches of his small intestine removed after a near fatal car accident right before his senior season of college. Only six weeks later, Favre led Southern Mississippi to a comeback victory over Alabama.

Charities:
- Brett established the Brett Favre Fourward Foundation, which holds annual golf tournaments, celebrity softball games, and fundraising dinners. The Foundation has raised over $3 million since 1996 to help charities. Brett's wife also established the Deanna Favre Hope Foundation (http://www.deannafavre4hope.com/), which she launched to benefit underinsured women battling breast cancer.
